Born and raised in The City of Joy (Kolkata), India, I had my first tryst with adulthood when I became a career professional engineer; that’s right, a software engineer at that. Even though I had spent close to a decade coding and meeting corporate deadlines, I knew all along that my heart and soul belonged to a world of real human connections, creative endeavors, bringing joy and being able to make an impact even in the simplest of ways possible.

 

 Although my first liaison with makeup was as a kid when I came across stage-makeup as a classical dancer myself; but the door to creative possibilities had not opened until New York City gave me the platform to keep learning, get certified, and thereby explore throughout the greatest melting pot of cultures of the world. Today with over 7 years of experience across beauty, fashion, film and television industry, I bring to all my clients a gourmet offering of makeup artistry and skills that draws onto every individual’s uniqueness and creates a wonderful experience of refinement, glamour and/or character as the story may demand for the day. 

 

From natural skin-first to classic glam, fashion forward to runway ready, editorial storytelling to blood and gore, I endeavor to wear a different hat every day yet with the same goal of offering high-quality services accompanied by little brushstrokes of joy.
